Day off!

So today is my day off work this week! Of course the warm (ish) weather has gone for the day its windy and cold. I bet tomorrow it will be back to normal! I never thought I’d miss the days of essay writing, but part of me wishes it was this time 2 years ago so I could be starting my last year of uni instead of entering nearly a year of full time work in a job that  I can do better than!

Today I must do something that involves using my brain and apply for jobs that I actually want ( even though there is hardly any out there!)

Eurovision: song contest or is it all political.

Last night was the annual eurovision song contest and I can honestly say that it was one of the most boring programmes ever. It was such a waste of money. It did not matter who was the best singer you were not in with a chance. The eastern block just voted for themselves and scandanavia for themselves. Therefore the other countries might have well not bothered being in the contest. You could make a guess at which country each on was going to vote for dependent upon who their neighboring countries were. The most political affluence and wealthy did not even make any difference, it was just an inevitable result that it is going to be other on of those countries winning. With there being so many countries in financial difficulty the money could be much better spent.

The Holiday(‘s) are booked!

So this summer, I have splurged out on myself and am going on two summer holidays! One with my boyfriend to Tenerife and the other to Zante with my girls! One in July and one in August! the best time for an easy burning red head to go!

However amid the holiday joys I have now started the panic of needing the perfect bikini body (which is never going to happen in such a short amount of time!) so the gym has started and so has the healthy eating!

Missing out on that spring feeling, its windy, cold and totally not feeling like the begining of winter and working a hell’a lot of hours this week- so tonight encorporates a much needed Dawson’s Creek session to just make everything seem that much better!

Afternoon off, Private Practice marathon

So the weather is cold, is April so hey where is that sun shine and warm breeze? I want to get my flip flops out! 

So in my depression at the cold weather, albheit it is a bit sunny but not anywhere near even 10 degrees so I am catching up on the second last season of Private Practice, I know the ending but whyyy do they build up all these seasons of Adi-sam? 

Maybe I’ll feel different when I’ve seen more of Jake and her together but for now, I just can’t see past it.
